The story began when a boy called Dastan from the street who gets adopted into the royal family after showing courage saving a young boy in a city square. Fifteen years later, we get to see young Dastan (Gyllenhaal) all grown up, fighting for Persia alongside his brothers Garsiv (Toby Kebbell), Tus (Richard Coyle) and uncle Nizam (Sir Ben Kingsley).

They head for a Holy City known as Alamut which is rumoured to be the source of weaponry that would be used to attack Persia. Rather than waiting for an imminent attack, The Persians decide to strike the first blow.

Rima Fakih crowned Miss USA 2010

This year all labanese worldwide should be pround because Rima Fakih, who is of Lebanese Muslim descent beat out 50 other contestant and has been crowned Miss USA 2010 Sunday night, replacing the 2009 winner Kristen Dalton. Rima Fakih from Dearborn, Michigan which is home for large Arab-American community.

The pageant took place at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Las Vegas. The 51 contestants were quickly narrowed down to 15 and then to five. The lucky women chosen to compete in the final five included Miss Michigan, Miss Virginia, Miss Maine, Miss Colorado and Miss Oklahoma.The first runner up was Miss Oklahoma Morgan Elizabeth Woolard, Miss Virginia USA Samantha Evelyn Casey was the second runner-up, Miss Colorado USA Jessica Hartman was third runner-up, and Miss Maine USA Katherine Ashley Whittier was the fourth runner-up.

It’s down to American Idol final four and who got voted off on American Idol May 12, 2010 ?. After a nationwide vote, the results are in, and Michael “Big Mike” Lynche was voted off. With Jaime Fox as the mentor, the top 4 finalist were performed Wednesday night with a theme from songs from the movies. After their performance live, the question who got voted off this week came up.

Eventhough she never a mother herself, Anna Jarvis is the reason you celebrate Mothers Day. She is never married and had no children. But she is recognized as the ‘Mother of Mothers Day’. She was born in town of Webster in Taylor County, West Virginia on May 1, 1864.

She was the ninth of eleven children born to Ann Marie and Granville Jarvis. Her family moved to Grafton when Anna was a year old. She graduated from what is now Mary Baldwin College in 1883.
