Jolie’s Evelyn Salt is made of sterner stuff, the kind that can survive a North Korean prison without giving up the name of her employer, the CIA. Back in D.C. and married to a nice though naive German arachnologist (August Diehl) — yes, he studies spiders and, yes, there is a payoff to that — she is assigned to CIA desk duties when a supposed Russian defector (Daniel Olbrychski) walks in one day.

prince-of-persia

The story began when a boy called Dastan from the street who gets adopted into the royal family after showing courage saving a young boy in a city square. Fifteen years later, we get to see young Dastan (Gyllenhaal) all grown up, fighting for Persia alongside his brothers Garsiv (Toby Kebbell), Tus (Richard Coyle) and uncle Nizam (Sir Ben Kingsley).

They head for a Holy City known as Alamut which is rumoured to be the source of weaponry that would be used to attack Persia. Rather than waiting for an imminent attack, The Persians decide to strike the first blow.

Robin Hood 2010

Robin Hood is a story about the life of an highly-skilled archer, previously interested only in self—preservation, returning to England after 10 years of fighting in the Crusades against the French. Upon Richard’s death, Robin and his three comrades  return to London with the crown and watch Richard’s younger brother Prince John take the throne.
