Robin Hood is a story about the life of an highly-skilled archer, previously interested only in self—preservation, returning to England after 10 years of fighting in the Crusades against the French. Upon Richard’s death, Robin and his three comrades  return to London with the crown and watch Richard’s younger brother Prince John take the throne.

Robin then travels to Nottingham to return a sword belongs to recently murdered friend of the king’s, Sir Robert Loxley that has an intriguing inscription on it to Sir Robert’s father, The town suffering from the corruption of a despotic sheriff and crippling taxation, where he falls for the spirited widow Lady Marion, a woman skeptical of the identity and motivations of this crusader from the forest.

Hoping to earn the hand of Maid Marion and salvage the village, Robin assembles a gang whose lethal mercenary skills are matched only by its appetite for life. Together, they begin preying on the indulgent upper class to correct injustices under the sheriff. All of this could potentially leads to a civil war when at the same time French decides to invade England.
